Learning unit contents

The course will help students to further develop the following skills / knowledge:
- Active command of 300 terms (words or phrases) specific to the field of architecture
- Mastery of the language's main language structures as used in life and work settings
- Greater ease during both formal and  informal spoken interactions

 

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Goal: developing students' mastery of the language with a specific emphasis on fundamental language structures and speaking skills with the aim of preparing their Erasmus exchange.

We will practice and assess all 4 skills of language learning: oral and written production, reading and listening comprehension.

Work on GABi and online grammar quizzes (1 point out of 20).

Group oral presentation (2 points out of 20).

Written exam (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, production) on the material covered as well as on the vocabulary list handed by the Faculty (13 points out of 20).

Oral examination on class material and the subject presented in groups. (4 points out of 20)
