This course is organized in the form of seminars and field days, in close collaboration with companies in the field.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of the course, the student will have acquired an understanding of the main technical, economic and social implications of the current organization of the electric power and energy industry in the different parts of the world, and its possible evolutions in the coming decades.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Via seminars and visits of industrial premises, the students are brought in close contact with industrial experts, undertakers, and societal stakeholders, to discuss with them about specific subjects of major importance for the electric power and energy industry. At the beginning of each year, the teachers and students define together the subjects and the industries and experts to contact to cover them.
