Learning outcomes of the learning unit

This course introduces the basic concepts of forest management in temperate areas. It emphasizes on the multifunctionality of the forest
At the end of this course the student is able to:

- demonstrate his mastership of these basic concepts

- implement the techniques and dataset involved in the implementation of a management plan for major forest types (regular vs. irregular, public vs. private)

- establish the necessary links with other disciplines interacting with forest management (forestry, ecology, economics, use of wood)
