Learning unit contents

This Mission aims to provide methods to identify entrepreneurial opportunities. The learning unit contents will cover the following:

  • Introduction to the Entrepreneurial Mindset and Effectuation
  • Opportunity Identification: Definition and Importance, Sources of Opportunities, Techniques for Identifying Opportunities
  • Designing the Value Proposition
  • Designing the Business Model Canvas
  • Pitching and Presentation Skills

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

After successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Understand the concept and importance of the entrepreneurial mindset in the modern economy.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities.
  • Assess the business opportunities.
  • Develop a business model canvas outlining the key components of a business opportunity.
  • Present business ideas effectively to potential investors and stakeholders.

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Basic research skills.

  • Lectures: To introduce core concepts and theories.
  • Case Studies: To analyze real-world examples of opportunity identification.
  • Group Projects: To foster collaboration and practical application of concepts.
  • Personal project: Develop skills in identifying and analyzing entrepreneurial opportunities.
  • Guest Lectures: To provide insights from industry experts
