Learning unit contents

1. Ergonomics as a discipline in its own right in an organisation's design and intervention project. 2. Needs analysis. 3. Elaboration of the methodology 4. Specifications 5. Data collection 6. Data analysis 7. Recommendations 8. Follow-up of implementation
Through these project stages, the course will articulate the theoretical and methodological frameworks for the management of ergonomic projects in organisations.
Partim M. Fabiocchi :

  • Design ergonomics
  • Ergonomics of correction
  • Steps of an ergonomic intervention
  • Ergonomics for workers with disabilities
  • Practical aspects of environmental factor measurements (noise, lighting, heat, vibrations, ventilation)

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

This teaching concerns the design, management and monitoring of ergonomic intervention projects in organisations: process control / design - interface evaluation - virtual reality, safety - risk management. It also involves positioning the intervention and the ergonomist in the dynamics of the organisation.
Partim M. Fabiocchi :

  • Mastering the steps of an ergonomic design/correction intervention
  • Controlling the stages of a metrological intervention

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Partim M. Fabiocchi :
The above courses are perfect as a pre-requisite and M. Fabioccho tries to bring the practical aspect and reality of the field into non-research field projects.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Partim M. Fabiocchi :
Oriented on the practice of real interventions in companies. Interactivity and answers to the many questions students have about the practice of ergonomics.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

The course is given in the form of seminars at the invitation of ergonomics professionals. Sharing of experiences and presentation of methodological contributions complemented by exercises on concrete cases and problems from the world of work.
Ideally face-to-face In the event of a health crisis: distance learning
For Mr. Fabiocchi's course: Using WEBEX
