Partim C. Hellemans: protective behavior facing bullying at work.
The course aims to understand and develop a critical view about inhibitors and facilitators of behavioral intervention for others facing a difficult situation. We take into account the organizational constraints in our critical view.
Various models will be presented: Coping model, theory of planned behavior, Darley & Latane (1968) model, Thornberg et al. (2012)model, Bowes-Sperry & O'Leary-Kelly (2005) model. The concepts of attribution of responsibility and moral courage will also be discussed.
Partim I. HANSEZ : From research topics to the training of direct supervisors/ Effectiveness of interventions and return to work
On a first day, several thematic research will be put in perspective with practical implications for the training of direct supervisors in the context of the prevention of psychosocial risks process: organizational justice, work-life balance, Needs-Supplies Fit, and finally safety and management. A reflection will also be carried out on the issues and needs of direct supervisors from the perspective of teaching methods adapted in the context of well- being at work.
A second day will focus on the effectiveness of individual, organizational and mixed interventions on workers' well-being, workers' attitudes, length of absenteeism and length of post-work retention. The issue of return to work (due to long-term absenteeism related to burnout) will also be addressed. A reflection/discussion will also be carried out on the approach of maintenance at work for a worker at high risk of burnout or early burnout.
