Course organized in Ecole supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc (Liège).
Exhibition and preventive conservation (30h - odd years => 2023-2024)
Theory and practice of exhibition design: the steps involved in exhibition design and the role of the curator-restorer in the process of conception and production of an exhibition, methodology of inspection of the building and the collections, setting up a preventive conservation plan, choice of materials used (display, furniture, scenography) and risks of pollution, measurement and control of light, climate, infestation. Case studies and preventive conservation exercises.
