- working on grammar points ncecessary to understand research papers
- pronunciation of the sounds of the English language

- working on fluency and intonation when reading out loud

- reading and understand research papers published in peer-reviewed journals
- reading out a prepared text
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
B1 level in reading and A2+ in oral expression and interaction. Students who do not have that level must catch up on their own.

The final grade (.../20) is calculated as follows:
- written exam (80%): questions on a new reserach paper
- oral exam (30%):
- (10%) reading out a prepared text
- (20%) questions based on paper chosen by the student
