Learning unit contents

Some chapters from Greek grammar, especially sentence syntax, with exercises. Translation from Ancient Greek and Greek prose composition. In-depth analysis of Greek particles. Revision of vocabulary. Chapters on Greek metric. Private reading.

 

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Enhancing students' knowledge of Ancient Greek.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

One must have followed the course Greek Language I previously.
 

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Active participation in the exercises.

In addition, an active approach to the Greek language should make it possible to achieve greater linguistic proficiency.

Tests during the year. Written final exam. Oral examination on the private reading. Oral exam on the particles.

The mark of the midterm exam in January will count for 20% of the June final mark if > or = 10/20. The mark will have no effect on the final grade if it doesn't reach 10/20 and the final exam will then be cumulative.
