Course contents :  
Introduction to German linguistics. In particular: German phonetics and phonology; word order, especially in the "Mittelfeld".

Knowledge of the notions taught and ability to apply them to solve particular problems.

Prerequisite: basic knowledge of German.

In particular phonetic transcription.

Some lecture notes will be available. Dictionary: Langenscheidts Großwörtebuch Deutsch als Fremdsprache.

Written and oral examination. The student will have to show that he knows the notions taught and can apply them to particular cases.
