German Syntax (continuation). Practicing basic grammar and vocabulary. This course is a continuation of the course "Linguistique allemande I" (second year). Students who did not attend the second year course should contact the professor in September. Learning outcomes of the course :   Knowledge of the notions taught and ability to apply them to solve particular problems. Translating from French into acceptable German. Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :   The contents of the course "Linguistique allemande I". Planned learning activities and teaching methods :   Among other things: every fortnight, a text must be translated in German at home. Dictionary: Langenscheidts Großwörtebuch Deutsch als Fremdsprache. Texts to be read: to be determined. Assessment methods and criteria :   Written and oral examination. The student will have to show that he knows the notions taught and can apply them to particular cases. Part of the written examination consists in translating a French text into German.
