Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Graphic communication has a central role in manufactured product design and have evolved greatly with the onset of CAD software. The aim of this course is to provide to the student a basic knowlege of technical drawing, and enable him to communicate efficiently with others. Finally, he will be able to draw a 3D representation from a technical drawing and inversely, generate techical drawings of a known 3D object.
Am intrioduction to mathematical aspects of 3D curve representations is also provided (Bézier curves and afine transformations in homogeneous coordinates)
This course contributes to the learning outcomes I.1, I.2, II.1, III.1 of the BSc in engineering.
