Learning unit contents

Measure theory has many applications in mathematics, in particular in analysis, functional analysis, and probability theory.
The course follows up Integral calculus but does not focus on the functional analysis aspects of the measure theory.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The topics will vary following the expectations of the students.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Integral calculus

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

If there are sufficient human resources in the department, the exercises will be supervised by the teaching assistants. The theory presented in the course is complemented by numerous examples and exercises.
