Learning unit contents

Students will acquire basic knowledge to prevent and treat postmenopausal osteoporosis.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Learning outcomes are "to possess the pathophysiological, epidemiological and clinical foundation for offering the highest quality care to patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis or at risk for it."

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Medical doctor or health professional with experience in the treatment of disorders related to menopause.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Oral lessons and discussion workshop with students.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

The teaching will be face-to-face.

Recommended readings will be specified within a comprehensive framework covering the different integrated teachings of this certificate.

The evaluation will be part of the overall assessment incorporating the various integrated teachings of this certificate.
