Learning unit contents
The course will study the relationship between stupidity and madness, through the notion of stultitia, in the philosophical writings of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, relying on the analyses of contemporary thinkers such as Foucault and Bakhtine.

Develop philosophical knowledge of the Middle Ages and methods of analysis and explanation of texts.
