The course takes place on Fridays from 11am to 1pm (Q2)
Each proposed session will consist of the following:
- 1h30 of ex-cathedra class;
- 30 minutes of discussion between the teacher and the students. Students will be invited to share their thoughts and to dialogue on the basis of a quote, a text extract, a short video, an image, a newspaper front page, a passage from a novel, etc. presented on the powerpoint.

Recommended or required readings
Students will be asked to read/listen to a short extract (of an article, essay, podcast, etc.) before the sessions as preparation for the specific topic. These extracts will be available via the eCampus platform.
Recommended reading: L. Bereni, S. Chauvin et al, Introduction aux études sur le genre, Brussels, De Boeck, 2020 (3rd edition).
Recommended readings and bibliographical references will be given during the course sessions for students wishing to deepen their knowledge of the subject matter.

Organisational remarks and main changes to the course
The course sessions will be taught by an interdisciplinary teaching team. In addition to Florence Caeymaex, who will teach the course, various doctoral students and members of the Feminist & Gender Lab will teach sessions related to their own disciplinary fields and interests. Here is the list*:
