Learning unit contents

This course is based on the notion of diversity, prejudice and discrimination against different social groups. We will discuss some solutions to the problems mentioned and describe the research carried out in this field. This course goes beyond the notion of prejudice and discrimination to try to understand how the idea of diversity is a unique opportunity to prepare for an increasingly diverse society. Particular attention will be paid to sexism.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The objective is to bring the student to position himself in the face of the issue of diversity in general and in particular in the face of sexism.

Exam in january / august

The exam will last 1h10 maximum and no one can leave the room for 20 minutes after the start of the exam. Students with disabilities who benefit from additional time will have 1h30 to take the exam. This one has 30 questions. Each MCQ type question is made up of a statement, followed by three suggested answers (1, 2 & 3). One and only one proposition is correct. All questions have the same value. Choosing the right proposal earns 1 point out of 30; choosing one of the two incorrect proposals does not cause you to lose any points. Not answering does not make you lose any points (but it is stupid to abstain...). 20 correct answers/30 are necessary to obtain 10/20. Each additional correct answer earns 1 point. There is no degree of certainty.
On the MCQ answer form: indicate your surname, first name, matriculation and faculty as well as the form of the questionnaire (see above). On this form, indicate your surname, first name, matriculation and faculty. When returning your question and answer sheets, please present your ULiège student card.
