Even if no lesson time is allocated to the "TFB", the work nevertheless benefits from regular monitoring thanks to the calendar, the three essential stages of which are set out in a document containing the instructions given to the students. Each student thus receives feedback within a reasonable time allowing him to progress in his research.
In addition, a working session is organized by the president of the jury between the third stage and the final submission of the paper.
This monitoring is explained and detailed instructions are given in a four-page document available on eCampus.

The evaluation of the "TFB", placed under the collective responsibility of the teachers, relates to the implementation of the directives given above. To achieve this, equal attention is paid to:

- the translation;
