Course contents :

| This course is dedicated to the study of the concepts of "civil society" and "globalisation" by theoretical and empirical approaches while trying on the one hand to make emerge a properly sociological glance and on the other hand to promote a reflexion on the current place of these concepts in the field of development studies. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| To approach scientifically the concepts of globalisation and civil society. To apprehend the social and cultural effects of the so-called globalisation process. To understand the place taken by the concept of civil society in thedevelopment policies and daily activities. |
