Units courses prerequisite and corequisite

Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program

Learning unit contents

The course is held every even years (2016-2017, 2018-2019,...).
The course aims to describe in detail the status and history of political actors wich belong to the populist and extreme right family in Europe and in the United States. They fully take part in political life in Europe and in the United States and the study of these actors is therefore an important complement to the study of democracy.
Among other comparative approaches, we will give a special attention to the use of conspiracy theory as a category of political explanation for many extremist parties.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit
