Learning unit contents

Face-to-face sessions of various types:

- revision of targeted material

- questions-answers

- mock exam

- correction of the mock exam

- correction of the January exam.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The purpose is to provide the student with supplementary material on the subject matter of the Mathematics for Computer Science 1 course in order to help the student in the preparation of the exam.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

The course "MATH2019 Mathematics for Computer Science 1" must be taken the same year. The course "MATH2007 Mathematics" is a corequisite, and in particular its chapter on complex numbers.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is given in person. Sample exercises will be explained and solved on the board by the teacher. Guided work sessions will be organized. For these sessions, students will receive a list of exercises to solve on a subject announced in advance. Question and answer sessions will also be organized, as well as a mock exam.
