Course contents :  
In-depth study of translation theory and practice in relationship with various sorts of both general and specialized texts.
Numerous translation exercices will be provided in order to extend the student's lexical and grammatical knowledge in Dutch and in French.

Assessment methods and criteria :  
Three tests during the year.
Written exam: translation of a general text dealing with a theme explored in class.
Oral exam: traduction à vue, translation theory, correction of the written exam.
