Advertising : Introduction to the concept of localized communication (This topic may not be covered this academic year).
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of the course, the students will be able to :
- subtitle a video (from the timecode-delineated lines to the final stage of adding the subtitles to the images).
- understand the concept of localized communication taking into account their specific intercultural components (for awareness-raising campaigns as well as advertising campaigns).
- apply strategies discussed and tested throughout the year; therefore, define and comment on their methodology;
- justify their choices on the basis of relevant criteria.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Having been trained to the translation of general interest texts.
Excellent knowledge of the English language.
Exclusively for Francophones.
