- Why are companies (and particularly agri-food companies) led to integrate consideration of the environment in their management practices
- From a réactive approach to a proactive and integrated approach: environmental management instruments
- Standardized management systems : IS014001 and EMAS
- Synergies between the different management systems: Quality, Environment, Health and Safety
- Pressures and environmental impacts of food industry activities (water, waste, energy, soils, ...)
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
After the completion of the course, students should:
- have the basic knowledges to participate in the implementation of effective environmental management in a company of the agri-food sector
- be able to identify and implement the necessary synergies between the different management systèms (Quality; Environment, Health and Safety)
