- Integration into the overall digital workflow

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Digital workflow in Orthodontics

Partim A. MAINJOT

The general aim of the course is to enable students to understand the main characteristics of ceramic and composite dental biomaterials, their manufacturing processes, and their integration into the overall digital workflow, in order to gain a better understanding of their use in clinical practice. At the end of the course, students will be able to:

-recognize the different categories of ceramic dental biomaterials, their main properties and indications
-analyze the different categories of composite dental biomaterials
-identify their main properties and indications
-develop the various methods of designing restorative dental biomaterials, including modern digital manufacturing methods
-understand the general evolution of dental biomaterials
-understand how prosthetic biomaterials fit into the overall digital workflow

Prerequisite knowledge and skills
