Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The students will have acquired basic notions essential to understand the functioning of a soil and they will be able to understand the messages of experts relating to the management and the conservation of the soil.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Basics in physics, chemistry and biology
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Alongside the theoretical concepts and principles taught in the audience, students will have to handle soils in the field and also in the laboratory so that they acquire a minimum background allowing them to react correctly to an environmental problem in which the soil plays an important role.
The course will therefore alternate theoretical sessions and practical work.
