Fieldtrip in the magmatic and metamorphic terrains of the Massif des Maures (Var, France) which aims to observe these rocks and apply the theoretical and practical notions seen in the courses of Magmatic Petrology (GEOL1035-1), Metamorphic Petrology ( GEOL1036-1) and Tectonics (GEOL0029-5.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Recognition and interpretation of minerals, rocks and tectonic structures of magmatic and metamorphic lithologies.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
The courses Pétrologie magmatique (GEOL1035-1), Pétrologie métamorphique (GEOL1036-1) and Tectonique (GEOL0029-5) are prerequisite.

Fieldtrip of 6 successive days in the Maures Massif (Var, France).
