Learning unit contents
This course of environnemental mineralogy contains 7 parts:
1. New technologies.
2. Wind and electricity generators.
3. Photovoltaic energy.
4. Nuclear energy.
5. Energy storage.
6. Ecosystems pollution.
7. Impacts on human health.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The aim of this course is to introduce the students to the energy questions, to environmental problems, and to the mineral resources necessary for the new technologies.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
The content of the course "Cristallographie et Minéralogie" must be known.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Practicals: interpretation of chemical analyses of minerals and macroscopic identification.

Face-to-face learning. Practicals are OBLIGATORY.
