Learning unit contents

- Aspects of perception: psychophysical relations, seeing shapes, colours, relief, movement, objects. Illusions and visual inattentions, visual strategies. 
 

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Familiarisation of students with the field of psychophysics and improvement of their knowledge about visual perception and attention.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

A solid foundation in methodology, psychometry, statistics, as well as in Psychology of Cognition and Language Partim 1 and 2 will help the student to integrate this subject.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Theoretical lectures given ex cathedra, practical sessions, individual presentations and/or group presentations; to be determined by the number of students enrolled.
