Learning unit contents

Presentation of the various techniques currently in use in functional brain imaging. Technical presentations will be illustrated in different cognitive domains (memory, language, case studies, ...)

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Following this course, the student will be able: - to understand the principles of the main neuroimaging techniques that are currently used in cognitive neuroscience - to criticize methodological aspects (e.g., experimental design) of cognitive neuroimaging studies

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Reading of articles that used functional neuroimaging techniques, especially with regard to their methodological aspects.
