Learning unit contents

Advanced kinesitherapy, and pathology of the thorax/lung system.

The content of the learning is in the slidekit and includes the comments during the course.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Following the integrated approach of the functioning of the respiratory system (RESP0520), The objective is to learn about the different lung diseases and their physiotherapeutic management.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Bac 1 and Bac 2 (Q1) courses, in particular physiology and general biochemistry.

The content of the course (slidekit and comments) must be learned and the student will be evaluated through a multiple choice questionnaire or open questions.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Based on recording lung volumes and on adaptations of the respiratory system to some physiological and physiopathological situations.

The course consists in a module taught during semester 4 (35 hours of theory, 15 hours of practical exercises).
